It is an investment club begun by the then-Georgia Chapter of BetterInvesting, to serve as an example of how an investment club can be run. It is an investment club that operates using the BetterInvesting long-term investing principles.  The Club was founded in 2019 to serve the citizens of central Georgia.  

CGMIC is held every 3rd Saturday of the month at noon.
