Christi Powell, a nationally known speaker with BetterInvesting, will present our deep dive retirement series. If you attended her webinar in 2024 titled "Retirement & the Tax Man", you know it was like drinking water from a fire hose. We’ll take it a little slower this time and expand it over three sessions.
Session 1: This first session will cover Roth Conversions and address some pertinent questions from her 2024 presentation that will include addressing how transactions are taxed in your retirement account, defining the difference between ‘taxable,’ ‘tax-deferred,’ and ‘tax-free’ accounts, and explaining taxes for inherited accounts and trusts, among others.
Session 2: Next, Christi will dig into Social Security, Medicare, Long Term Care, and Tax Bracket Torpedoes. Learn how to navigate these issues with confidence.
Session 3: Christi will wind up the series with a discussion on Qualified Charitable Distributions, Donor Advised Funds, and Concentrated Stock Positions. Learn how to leverage your Required Minimum Distributions and lower your taxes through charitable giving.
