The Mid-Michigan Chapter provides support to BetterInvesting clubs in a variety of ways. The following subject areas contain valuable information in an effort to keep our investment clubs running smoothly and profitably. Club Visits
Mid-Michigan Chapter has a group of Directors who would be happy to visit your club and offer encouragement and advice on the BetterInvesting method of starting and running a profitable investment club.
Club visits from the experienced investors on our Board of Directors are one of the most amazing services the Mid-Michigan Chapter offers to its clubs. These are the terrific people who teach our classes, coordinate our annual Investors Education Conference, put together the Mid-Michigan Chapter Newsletter -- and make dues-paying club visits free of charge.
The chapter has a club visit coordinator who will find the right person at the right time for the right subject matter. That volunteer will then contact you for the date, time and directions to your meeting, and particulars about the topics you wish to discuss.

Portfolio Tune-Up
Have one of our Mid-Michigan Directors, experienced in BetterInvesting methods, spend an evening with your club reviewing your portfolio. Our Tune-ups are now free to BetterInvesting Clubs in our Chapter. Email Ken Kavula for more information or to schedule a time.Club Stockpickers’ Contest
Join other clubs in Mid-Michigan Chapter who participate in the Annual Stockpickers’ Contest. Each paid BetterInvesting club may submit a portfolio consisting of 1-15 stocks valued at $100,000; the investments are imaginary, but there are real cash prizes for the winners.Each club will be able to track the portfolios of other contestants and will receive a monthly letter discussing the portfolios. Take the opportunity to learn from other clubs and participate in this energizing program absolutely fee.
The contest runs from the beginning of November to the end of October of the following year and usually culminates with the Stockpickers’ Breakfast in November with a program featuring analysis of the winning portfolios and recognition of club anniversaries. Due to the pandemic, there will be four webinars on November 10 and 11 in lieu of the Breakfast.

If you have questions about determining who your club contact currently is, how to change your club contact and other frequently asked questions, please see the attached document or contact us at contact@midmi.betterinvesting.netPlease be sure that your club contact realizes that they will be the only one in the club receiving mailings and materials from the Chapter and that they should bring or forward copies of those items to the other members of the club.

Club Anniversary Certificate Program
The Mid-Michigan Chapter recognizes clubs celebrating their incremental five year anniversaries. We believe reaching such a milestone is an achievement deserving recognition and congratulations from BetterInvesting. Home Office will be providing the Mid-Michigan Chapter a certificate for each investment club reaching this milestone.A chapter representative will reach out to the club contact of each investment club celebrating this special anniversary to make arrangements for the certificate presentation. Please be sure to let us know of any change in contact information with regard to your club contact by sending an email to contact@midmi.betterinvesting.net
