Description
Banks operate under a different business model compared to manufacturing or service-oriented companies. Therefore, it is beneficial to supplement the Stock Selection Guide (SSG) with additional metrics when analyzing bank stocks. This session will introduce key quality metrics for evaluating banks and explain how to interpret and utilize these values to identify high-quality bank investments. The SSGPlus tool provides extra financial data specifically for banks, and how to access and analyze this information will be presented.
Once a high-quality bank candidate is identified, its potential return is evaluated using the SSG.
The presenter for this session is Ross Meredith, a retired bank examiner with extensive experience evaluating banks. Ross also volunteers with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of BetterInvesting. Join us as Ross shares his insights to help you identify the best bank stock investments.
This is the first of 2 sessions on Better Bank Stock Analysis. Part 2 is coming on June 12, 2025.
