How soon is data on a new company, spinoff or IPO available?

If the registration documents for the new company or ticker include at least one year of annual financial data, then the information for a new company, spinoff or IPO should be available within 2-3 days after the launch date. Keep in mind that for a brand new company, there may be extremely limited historical information and not suitable for analysis with a Stock Selection Guide. If the user requires more information then the company filings on the website at SEC.gov should be reviewed.
