Is data for foreign companies available?
Foreign companies with issues trading on the covered exchanges are integrated into the CoreSSG and SSGPlus online stock tools. These companies may be trading depository shares (ADR/ADS) or they may be ordinary shares.
Users should be aware that by law, foreign companies only need to file annual reports. Other quarterly data will be included in the tools if there is enough data reported by the company to generate a full set of financial statements. Given this constraint, your Stock Selection Guide may only have fundamental data updates once per year.
Some companies will provide an interim report on a semi-annual basis. At this time, the online stock tools do not have a provision to display this semi-annual data.
