Where does the company data come from?

BetterInvesting's Stock Data is a database of company financial data from Morningstar's Global Equity Data division. This database is updated daily and includes financial data from active companies trading on the NYSE, Nasdaq, AMEX, ARCA, Toronto and Toronto Venture exchanges. Currently, there are in excess of 8000 companies provided in the data source.
