The Wisconsin Chapter of BetterInvesting serves more than 90 investment clubs and 1,000 members throughout the greater Wisconsin area including Fox Valley, Green Bay, La Crosse, Madison, and Milwaukee.

The Wisconsin Chapter and BetterInvesting promote a long-term approach to investing based on four fundamental investment principles:

1. Invest regularly.

2. Reinvest earnings.

3. Invest in quality growth companies at a reasonable price.

4. Diversify holdings across company size and industry segments.

Services the Wisconsin Chapter offers to its members and to the public include: 

• Regular classes on topics such as introduction to investing, the BetterInvesting methodology, using the Online Suite of tools including the Stock Selection Guide, basic financial literacy, and retirement planning.

• Club visits by an experienced member of our Board of Directors to help a club or individual with a variety of topics, including portfolio reviews and club accounting.

• Email and print newsletters highlighting chapter events and sharing investment education ideas.

The Wisconsin Chapter is made up of local volunteers and we are always looking for energetic folks to join our team.  Our primary mission is to provide quality investment education to investment clubs and individuals. We also assist in the formation of new investment clubs, and serve as a resource to more established clubs. We also help individuals experience a working investment club with a visit to investment clubs that welcome visitors.
