Christi Powell, CFP®, RICP®, is a long-time BetterInvesting (BI) member. She was the 2020 Dick Dwyer Service Award recipient from BetterInvesting, a former BI Volunteer Advisory Board (BIVAB) Board Member, and is a current VP and Director with the Oklahoma Chapter since 2000. She has been a National and Regional speaker with BetterInvesting since 2008. Her classes at the BI National Convention (BINC) are always filled to the max. Christi firmly believes that consistent, disciplined investing is fundamental to financial security.
Christi is a Past President of the Financial Planning Association of Central Oklahoma. She is also a former director with Washita Capital, a private equity firm in Dallas. She is married, and they have two children and five grandchildren. Her motto is, “Have toothbrush, love to travel”. She loves reading, hiking, gardening, and laughing with friends and family in her spare time. She advises, “Be humble, be patient, be curious.”
