BetterInvesting’s powerful tool is the Stock Selection Guide (SSG). Not everyone knows to use it effectively. Join the BI Houston Chapter as we walk through the tool step by step and answer all your questions. The tool is elegant yet can be intimating, but it is one of the most effective tools you can use when selecting quality growth companies.
We will guide you to answer these questions:
You will get the answers through a series and hands on exercises studying real companies. You will use premium tools such as SSG Plus, Value Line, Morning Star and Manifesting Investing. All of which we will access live within the series.
We listened to student feedback and restructured the class with more hands on exercises and times for questions each day. The entire class has been revamped for 2025.
The Bootcamp will be limited to a small number of students to facilitate interaction. Classes will include self study exercises to complete between sessions. Sign up early to avoid being put on a waiting list. If you have any questions, contact president@houston.betterinvesting.net.

The Bootcamp will take place over 3 consecutive Saturdays: February 22, March 1, and March 8, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm CT. Students are expected to attend all three days.
This is a live series and there will be no recordings, however, students will receive complete handouts and will have ample opportunities to ask questions.
Together we will complete multiple SSGs using the SSG Plus tool in interactive sessions:
This series is the primary fund raiser for the nonprofit BI Houston Chapter. The chapter uses the proceeds for chapter programming, education, and outreach programs. By signing up for the class you are helping yourself and your fellow investors.
Required Subscriptions to complete this class:
If you are already a BetterInvesting member, you will need the SSGPlus membership. If you have SSGCore membership, you can buy an upgrade at any time. If you are not a BetterInvesting member, you will be asked to sign up for the BetterInvesting 30-day Open House Trial.
If you are not already a Manifest Investing subscriber, a 30 day trial subscription will also be required no earlier than February 20th. Instructions for both will be sent out with the pre-class information packet.
The cost for one year Plus Membership of BetterInvesting is $99 (regularly $145). Cost of Manifest Investing is $40 for one year. Memberships in both programs include all benefits and features. Both can be cancelled within 30 days with money back guarantee.
