There will be a presentations of Stocks to Study and a Workshop Session on Chapter Operations.
How does a club find a quality stock to study? One great way is with an Industry Study. Stock Selection Guides (SSGs) for companies in an underrepresented industry of the club’s portfolio are compared with each other using the Stock Comparison Guide (SCG). This is a proven process with surprising results.
This month's Industry Study is Residential Construction. We are challenging our current portfolio holding, DR Horton (DHI).
The stocks under consideration are:

The Houston Model Club will not have our usual Education Session during the Model Club meeting. The education slot will be allocated to reviewing and approving the recently revised Model Club oversight documents.
The documents to be discussed include the Model Club Partnership Agreement and the Model Club Bylaws.
The Model Club meeting will be a hybrid online and in person.

The public and BI members are welcome to attend these free meetings as observers to learn how to evaluate a stock, form and operate a successful investment club in accordance with the methods and principles of the National Association of Investors Corp. (NAIC)/BetterInvesting.
