In person attendees will be meeting in the 3rd floor small conference room at the Kendall Neighborhood Library this month.
There will be a Stock to Study and an Education Session.
How does a club find a quality stock to study? One great way is with an Industry Study. Stock Selection Guides (SSGs) for companies in an underrepresented industry of the club’s portfolio are compared with each other using the Stock Comparison Guide (SCG). This is a proven process with surprising results.
The June Industry Study is the Technology Sector. The Club is challenging current portfolio holding Apple (AAPL).
The stocks under consideration are:

The Education topic this month is Outliers in Section 3 of the Stock Selection Guide.
Section 3 of the SSG has a wealth of information for investors. It organizes 5-10 years of data for a company. However, sometimes the info on some years is anomalous. We will discuss several scenarios on when to leave in or take out data and how that effects the rest of the SSG.
The Model Club meeting will be a hybrid online and in person.

The public and BI members are welcome to attend these free meetings as observers to learn how to evaluate a stock, form and operate a successful investment club in accordance with the methods and principles of the National Association of Investors Corp. (NAIC)/BetterInvesting.
