The Stock Selection Guide II (SSG) Class is a continuation of SSG I. SSG II completes the back of the Guide. Evaluating Management is analyzed and examined more thoroughly and it is on the back that we determine a P/E and price range for an acceptable buying opportunity, calculate the Relative Value, determine the amount of risk, if bought, estimate the average yield, and the compound total return.
Lasts four hours 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Covers selecting a “good” price to pay for the company; understanding total return and how the “buy” price affects total return; uses various examples of completed SSGs to compare and contrast companies.

This program year the Kansas City Chapter of BetterInvesting will be using software programs to teach the Stock Selection Guide (SSG), however, SSG III will still be offered for those that like to complete the SSG manually.

We will use Value Line data and show you how to analyze a stock to determine if it is a good growth stock and if the price is right to purchase.
SSG III completes both the front and back sides of the Guide.

SSG III also provides a discussion on exercising judgment, for more accurate stock prediction.
