Portland offers special events – like our Education Day – Model Club meetups and Board Meetings open to members and the public. We also partner with other chapters to offer online “webinars” on various investing and “money” topics.
Let us know if you are interested in joining us at a Board Meeting or Volunteering. Contact email@example.com or call 503/490-7296 and leave a message for John Radford.
Individuals can use the new Visit-A-Club (VAC) program to find clubs that welcome visitors. Clubs may use the program to spread the word about fundamental investing using BI guidelines and to teach others about investing in the stock market.
If you are interested in learning more information about VAC, contact Bob Smith at President@portland.betterinvesting.net
The Model Club is open to visitors. MC assists in the formation of new clubs by offering a venue to see a “Model Club” in action by observing a real club meeting with money invested. This is the place to get answers about starting a club, club administration or operations, and learn by doing. Contact John Radford at: firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
Club Visits by Directors and Club Education Ideas
What does your club need to learn? Would you like one of our Directors to visit your club to provide a short training session or demo an online tool to your club? Many Club Visits are free (First-time visit by a Chapter Director, Starting a New Club-type visit, and Club Visits celebrating significant club anniversaries are free – and usually run 20-25 minutes. Portfolio Reviews and complete workshops run longer and may have a small charge to cover our costs. Contact Bob Smith at President@portland.betterinvesting.net
