First, I’d like to introduce you to BetterInvesting: a unique organization that has helped over five million individual investors meet their financial goals. Founded over 60 years ago, BetterInvesting is a community, where people like you share their experiences and knowledge to become better, more informed investors. We’re a non-profit organization, so you’ll find our resources and products offer you remarkable value at very low cost. We’re volunteer-based, with investors just like you contributing experience and insight to the organization. We’re member-driven, meaning that all the tools and resources we provide are tailored to the needs of individual investors just like you. BetterInvesting charges no commissions, because we don’t sell or recommend any stocks or mutual funds. We do, however, provide a wealth of resources to guide and assist you on your path to greater financial security.
New Members Tapped for Board
The Channel Islands Chapter of the Better Investing Organization has tapped three new members to join its Board. The election was held on February 20, 2018 at the regular monthly meeting of the Channel Islands Chapter. Rosalina Primiano, Roberta Malloy, and Arla Crane bring a wealth of business experience to the Board. All three will join the whole Board in sharing investing knowledge with the general public on April 24, 2018 at the Camarillo Library, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The library is located at 4101 Las Posas Road, Camarillo. The presentation will feature Adam Ritt, Managing Editor of Better Investing Magazine, who will explain the cornerstone of all Better Investing Clubs: "The Stock Selection Guide." For over sixty years investment clubs have used this simple tool for making buy, sell, and hold decisions. Ms. Primiano and Ms. Molloy said it best: "This is so easy. Anyone can be a successful investor. It takes the mystery out of the Market." Ms. Crane joins in the chorus: "To think this nationally recognized scholar, Mr. Adam Ritt, will share his knowledge with everyone is an outstanding gift!"
The seminar is free and all are welcome to attend. Reservations are recommended to ensure enough investment packets are prepared for everyone in attendance. Please R.S.V.P. to Jeanette Casserly at (805) 506-7997 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org

A statement from Phyllis Boynton, MICCI Presiding Partner:
"Our Chapter is very fortunate to have a working model investment club. Not all BetterInvesting chapters have model clubs, let alone an actual working club with money invested and members making monthly contributions. Our club, called Model Investment Club Channel Islands (MICCI), meets once a month. The best part of our club for you is that it is open to visitors. To schedule a visit, contact Jeanette Casserly, a member of MICCI, at email@example.com or call her at 805-506-7997. Since we are a model club, we use the guidelines Better Investing (BI) has put in place. We have bi-laws and a partnership agreement as required by BI. We also use the Stock Selection Guide (SSG) when making buy or sell decisions and for following the stocks we currently own."
