NLC Education Dayfeaturing Ken Kavula, BI Volunteer and Mark Robertson, Manifest Investing, to discuss “Successful Long-Term Investing”.They have a full day of topics to present and discuss!
Ken Kavula has served the modern investment club movement in a wide variety of leadership volunteer positions. A retired educator, Ken is regarded as a small company champion and respected speaker nationwide.He also belongs to four investment clubs, including two Model clubs and a family club.
Mark Robertson is founder and Managing Partner of Manifest Investing. He served as senior contributing editor for BetterInvesting and has worked with successful investment clubs and individual investors since 1993.He has appeared on National Public Radio, CNBC and ABC to discuss long-term investing.Mark has also worked with Smart Money, Barron’s, Money magazines and the Motley Fool and been covered by the Chicago Tribune, Wall Street Journal and MarketWatch as well as a number of local publications.
NLC is excited to have Ken and Mark available at 8:00 a.m. prior to the education day beginning at 8:30 am to personally answer questions and end the day with “Two Guys Talk Stocks”. Clubs may submit their portfolio through NLC at email@example.com for Ken and Mark to review and analyze.
General Mills has graciously assisted in sponsoring this event.The event includes morning rolls and coffee plus lunch, consisting of an assortment of turkey, ham and vegetarian sandwiches. Sides, will also be provided. Let us know if there are any special dietary restrictions.
General Mills is also providing samples and a door prize. NLC and BI are also contributing door prizes.
Cost is a reasonable $40.00 per person by sending a check payable to BetterInvesting-Northern Lights Chapter with this completed registration form postmarked by April 27th. Eventbrite is available for credit card users with a small additional fee at https://nlights2017.eventbrite.com through May 2nd. There will be a $10 walk-in late fee. Refunds minus $5 admin fee may be requested prior to May 2nd.
