David Krause currently is a Finance professor at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is also the Director of the Applied Investment Management Program, which prepares undergraduate students for careers in the field of investments. Prior to joining Marquette in 2004, Krause was active in several business he co-founded that were engaged in areas of manufacturing, health care, medical devices, and financial services. Krause has received his BBA, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees in the area of finance. He has concentrated his studies in the areas of investments, economics, and statistics. He is widely published in academic and trade journals.
In addition to his academic and business pursuits, David Krause as serves on various corporate, charitable, and civic boards and foundations. He has served on the Jefferson Board of Education since 1993 and has been the President of the Board since 1995. He and his wife have two sons and reside in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
